The sheepskin is rolled around the edges of the numnah to create a full border.
The depth of pile is approx. 30mm, creating a natural air cushion and offering great shock absorption for the horse, providing ideal pressure distribution and maximising saddle fit and comfort. The border frames the saddle nicely.
The sheepskin helps to reduce sweat and regulates humidity.
